Re: Humour
I don't get it.
I've seen responses like that in the Ubuntu, Drupal, and Inkscape forums. It's pretty common among successful projects to have separate venues for support and bug tracking.

Re: Humour
The bugzilla thing contains a list of bugs going back years which have never been addressed.

Re: Humour
That doesn't seem surprising with a mature million-line code base.richmond62 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 26, 2025 6:49 am The bugzilla thing contains a list of bugs going back years which have never been addressed.
I still don't get how it's funny.
Is there a particular issue you're concerned about seeing addressed in your current licensed copy?

My copy of LC 4.5 (licensed in perpetuity) refuses to run on any Mac system newer than 10.7. My copy of DreamCard 2.6.1 refuses to work on Intel processor Macs. My copy of RevMedia 2.x.x will, also only run on PPC machines.

Re: Humour
Yes, that's understandable because each one of those programs is not receiving any further development. You can add LCC 9.6.3 to that list regarding not working on Arm macs too (not natively).richmond62 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 26, 2025 11:34 am My copy of LC 4.5 (licensed in perpetuity) refuses to run on any Mac system newer than 10.7. While the OS moves on, the programs have to move on with it or become 'frozen' as far as compatibility goes. Of course, this is what we've covered elsewhere time and time again on here in various guises: nobody is going to pour huge amounts of time (and/or) money into re-coding DreamCard for intel/arm, RevMedia 2.x for intel/arm - not unless they are doing it for the love of it, or for a financial incentive.
It's certainly not a weekend project.
