Yes, I know: that seems a bit daft.

BUT, I am sure that most of us do NOT actually spend a lot of time mooching around in the Preference stack, and I hope that by posting
this series of screenshots this will force everyone to take a closer look:

1. To understand just HOW MANY THINGS Tom has added to the inherited IDE.

2. To see many things we may have overlooked.

Extra bits appear when you are viewing that in Linux too.
It's kind of conditional to some extent (stuff about Linux dependencies for example, that you don't need to see in MacOS)

While you have those screenshots shown, I should mention that you can additionally force the 'revmenubar' into a certain location too, using that X and Y adjustment in the compatibility section.

That may make it less tedious to adjust the positioning of it on MacOS.

Perhaps also worth mentioning, that on Windows / MacOS and Linux - you don't need to install anything to build an android app. You can now simply point the IDE towards these folders:

Edit: ignore that above.
I've since added this:

I wonder if you could set up a 'permanently-at-the-top' posting with Prefs. cards for the 3 desktop platforms side by side, and in such a way that one can go back and edit them after more than the statutory 30 minutes postings seem to lock up at the moment (why is that? They don't over-the-way).

More bits changed in the preferences.
Red bits are bits I've added. Purple bits are bits I've moved about:

and while not technically "in the prefs", it's something else I've added:

All got to be good. 8-)

Coming our way in a 109 update, or 110?

If you manually check for updates and re-download last update, it'll be the new version.
