Just wanted to formally thank Richmond and Terri and anyone else who has helped to keep the porn posts, spam and other trash off of this forum. I really do appreciate it! I can't monitor this site constantly and the measures I did take to try to prevent that has not stopped %100 of it (although it's a lot less than it was).

It's a shame that individuals with reduced cranial capacity see fit to spam these forums.
In the registration process for the phpBB forum, you could switch it to only allow registrations from people with a valid email address. Then, if they choose to spam the forums, a message could explain why their posts or account has been removed.

I think there's a variety of phpBB plugins that do this, and also a word filter to auto-remove any spurious posts.

As there is very little I can do to forward this project in practical terms,
reporting silly Spammers and evil Russians is the least I can do.
