To all intents and purposes the Open Source versions of LiveCode may be regarded as abandonware; but that
does not mean they cannot continue to be used in a highly productive fashion.

It would be lovely if there could be a dedicated section here for users of the LiveCode open source versions to discuss
aspects of that as there seem to be certain hackles rising "over the border" anent discussions re just that.

AFAIK there are no limitations in LC Ltd venues on discussing any builds produced by the company.

The only limitation is that new forks be discussed elsewhere, and here we are.

What do you want to discuss here in the OpenXtalk forums that isn't about OpenXtalk?

And why not just post questions about using LC's older versions in the forums LC Ltd provides for that?

Oh, that was a slight knee-jerk reaction to someone going on about me, supposedly, 'propagating' LC open source across the way.
