It could be worse...
You could be the friendly giant living next to him, who he has decided to harass and torment and bully even though you have been friends since 1812. Emotions are running pretty high in the great white north as displayed in the friendly game of hockey that we just played!
If he insists, we will just turn off the water, wood, minerals, steel, cars etc that he says he doesn't need, but that is going to hurt us as much as it hurts all of the American people. But it is the only thing that bully actually respects.
It's going to be a long four years...

As Canada is really Scotland grown big (and my Uncle lives there): I have great faith in that country (a lot of the advantages of the USA without a lot of the nasty bits) and have great faith in her people.
As Scotland is to England, so Canada is to the USA, in many many ways that are not immediately apparent.
Also, I am a great fan of Robertson Davies, and have read all his wonderful books.

There's strong feelings globally about what Trump is doing. As there needs to be.
It's not like we didn't see this coming though. He's got 4 years to make things worse, which I'm sure he'll do.
