Inspired by recent discussions about baseConvert and the fact that OXT treats numbers as string variables . . .

A fairly childish exercise in converting HEX numbers to decimal ones

[ by 'childish' I mean the sort of exercise I might set 9-10 year olds on day 3 of a short course. ]

The advantage (such as it is) of my method is that it should convert hex numbers with NO upper limit.
