Of course if standalones were delivered in some sort of 'wrapper' such as HTML that could
be used offline . . .

That's likely doable, using some JS app engine like Electron, and "HTML5 Standalone" or maybe even an alternative xTalk interpreter(s) that run on JS could be bundled up. into an app package the way apps like the code editor Atom do.Of course if standalones were delivered in some sort of 'wrapper' such as HTML that could
